Training and Development
Whether an employee is a manager or a driver, Veolia Transport offers a wide range of vocational, technical and management training programmes to all its staff members.
For the company to grow through its employees, it is important that the opportunity to acquire new skills, knowledge and increased competencies is offered to them. This will enable them to progress and achieve optimum performance levels within the Group. These programmes are written to national standards and are designed to help employees achieve group and national qualifications, diplomas and certificates.
The programmes encourage personal development and open up new career opportunities for employees across Veolia Transports’ business units to work together and share experiences, promoting teamwork and affinity to the Group.
We also provide advanced learning courses aimed at developing supervisory and managerial staff to a level beyond their existing status. These courses are often nationally accredited and range from a 5 day BTEC/City in Guilds course, to a 2 year DipBA with Leeds University Business School.
