Veolia Transport UK announces purchase of Paul James

NEWS FROM UK: Veolia Transport UK, today announces the purchase of 100% of the share capital of Paul James Coaches Ltd.

Operating from 3 locations in Leicestershire, Paul James has an excellent reputation for service  excellence. The business provides tendered bus services on behalf of Rutland and Leicestershire County Councils as well as operating a high quality coach tour operation.
 
Wayne Smith is appointed as General Manager for the business. Wayne and his 50 colleagues at Paul James are the latest additions to the Veolia Transport team in the UK.
 
Steve O’Brien and Paul O’Brien, the previous owners of Paul James, will remain with the business for an initial period, assisting with the handover of the business as well as supporting Veolia Transport with other projects.
 
John O’Brien, Chairman of Veolia Transport UK, said,
“The acquisition of Paul James continues our growth strategy in the UK. Steve and Paul O’Brien have built up a business with an excellent reputation for service excellence. We believe there are very good prospects for growth in the Leicestershire area and the business fits well alongside our operations in the neighbouring regions”.
